Researchers have found that incorporating nuts in the diet does not appear to cause weight gain as long as total calories are controlled. As with most foods, portion control is critical. Whenever there is an urge to snack, having a pack of healthy nuts can actually help with weight control and maintenance as nuts tend to be filling.
